Trials and Faith

We have trials in our lives. It may be looking for a job, your studies, family, relationships or anything under the sun. We strive to overcome the problems we have, we do whatever we can to solve it. You look everywhere to find any clue, you talk to every person you know and even you don't know, you always see the sun go down to end your day. But you can't seem to find the answer.

May I ask you, do you pray so you would find your answer? Do you pray to God to guide you? Do you offer God something in your prayers? Do you pray to God to release the stress in your life to overcome your trials? Do you have faith in God that someday the answer that you are waiting for, for a long time has just arrived?

Once a friend told me, you are really stressed out. You are looking for a job and you are trying to fix your relationship. My friend asked me, “Do you pray?” and I answered “Yes, I do” and I go every Sunday to pray to release me from the stress I have, with being back together with my love and to have a job so I can stay with my love. Another question my friend asked. “Do you offer something you can’t live without to answer your prayers? And I had a long pause and from there my friend told me, you offer something you really can’t live without, like smoking, waking up earlier than the usual, or anything big or small, it doesn’t matter, and God will gladly fulfill your prayers.

I had a long night after our conversation, as I was thinking of what I can offer? It is Sunday the next day and I got to think of my offer. And I had two, one for my relationship to work out and the second one is to have a job. It was through these days and weeks that I have offered God and I was waiting until I wanted to give up and then I had one of my prayers answered.

I thank my friend who showed me the way and without my friend’s word, I don’t believe I would have my prayers answered. It was a long wait, but time is meaningless, as in the end if you have faith in God, the trials you have would be answered.

Life is full of trials, these are needed in a way, to know your faith. It is up to you! You are the master of your own craft and God is watching to lead you. Believe that one day, your prayers would be answered, have faith, even you might want to give up. Just have faith!
