A Story of a Man

Here is a story I read of a man who made a life changing sacrifice.

It started when he left his own country to seek an opportunity he cannot just leave behind. It was not a great start to begin with, but it turned out that he liked what he was doing, even the atmosphere was not the best in the world. He fought from bottom all the way up to be on top of his game. Even with his detractors he did what he was best in. Even he was not given pay increase that he thought he should have, he still loved what he was doing. Even with the amount of work he was given, he at times would complain, but it didn't matter much. It was just the best job he had, in the worst place that he can be in.

After years of hard work and passion, he was given the opportunity to work elsewhere, then he met a woman, who he fell in love with. He shared the happiest moments of his life with her, they shared the laughter, the joy, the care and love with each other. He knew that he would marry her in just a month of being together, because he knew that she will always be in his heart.

But it was not the smoothest of all relationships. Their relationship ended because he needed to go back to his work in a different part of the world. It was hard to maintain a long distance relationship. It was difficult for them being miles apart and with the people surrounding them, making them weaker and lose what they had. 

He always thought of the lost time that they are supposed to be together, the moments that they are supposed to share, the memories that are supposed to be in their hearts, it was difficult for them, but he hoped that even being far apart, he wanted to feel that they are together, every day.

He wanted to continue the relationship, as he had a vow one night in their small town church that he would not leave her, to marry her, and be in love with her for the rest of his life, until forever.

Having all the glory in his career, he needed to make a choice, if its career or her. It was easy for him, because he loved her so much. 

And you already know what happened next... He ended his contract and left the company. He went back to find her, just to find out that he would be brokenhearted even more. It was not easy when they saw each other again, actually it was the worst year of their lives together, not a single week that they would not argue. Even for just something that you would not thought someone would argue about. It was ruining a ruined relationship. It was loving her so much, misunderstanding, mis-communication, and lots of things that you can imagine. None of what he was doing was right to her, it was dragging her to hate him and all he wanted to do is for him to be understood and in return understand her. But it was the most difficult thing to do.

He found a job, but he left as well and is looking frantically for a new job, any job that can make him stay with her, but he was losing hope already.

With the stress of having no job and is still trying to repair a broken relationship. Every night he would think why he left a career he loved, for the woman of his dreams. But, he knows that she is the only one that would make his life complete. He is still hoping, but then again he is losing hope.

In the end, he lost her heart and it broke his heart. 

Is it beyond repair? Let's wait and see...
