The Queen and Princess meets...
While I waited for the day to be back to the Philippines to finally see my Nanay, there was someone who made me feel loved, someone who made me feel I'm not alone. She is who I call my Princess. On the day that I knew my Nanay was admitted to the hospital, I immediately messaged her, to help as I needed someone who can comfort me through one of the hardest time in my life.
Bottled up with work, Princess made it to a point to see me after work. She was tired as I saw it on her eyes, she dragged herself to talk to me. It was hard for me knowing my Nanay would just be days away and I would not see her once more, but another woman in my life was there to be with me.
On that evening, Princess and I talked about her visit in the Philippines. She remembered my Nanay who was a loving, caring and kind-hearted mom to us, seeing how Nanay treated her on her short stay at our home.

I didn't know how I would introduce her to Nanay, we talked in private and I asked Nanay what she thought of her. She said, she looks nice and pretty. Then I told her that I will marry Princess, she nodded and said, if you love her, then you go ahead, I am happy for both of you. I was elated of what just happened, because she was OK for having Princess be part of the family. After that, all my relatives and friends of Nanay knew that I would marry her.
Ending the short talk, Nanay prepared food for us. I was hoping that she would like the food Nanay prepared, and I was hoping to that she would like the food I cooked for us as well. Good enough she liked the food. Then we went out for awhile to tour her around our small town called Los Banos.
When we came back, to my amazement, Nanay gave Princess a gift. It was a native bracelet. I never imagined that she would go out of her way to buy a gift for my special someone. It made me happy and so did my Princess. She loved the bracelet that Nanay gave her, and until today, she uses the bracelet.
And then we talked about some other things that reminded her of my Nanay.
She told me that Nanay was a good mom and a loving mom.
It was just two days of her life that she knew my Nanay, but it greatly affected her on our lost. She was thankful to know her and I know Nanay was happy to know Princess as well.
And she said... she would never forget Nanay.
This just makes me feel happy on how Nanay meant to her.
The Queen and Princess of my life.
