hello, my name is single!
...then i would think that it is better to be single, wild and free.
for a month now, my friends and colleagues would tell me about relationships, specifically me having a relationship. Even my boss encourage me to look for someone to be with me. But, i just laugh about it because I just don't feel now that being attached with someone will make my life any easier.
it is good to see people happy with someone, enjoying the moments together, the smiles that are on their faces when they feel loved. Even you would see them hug and kiss in the public to show their affection. But, it is just one side of the relationship, you would also see sadness, anger, hate and stress on keeping the relationship.
though i would think that being attached is great where you know that you can fill in the gaps of someone and vice versa, where you would see someone grow old with you, where you would have someone there when you need it. But, i would also think of being left alone, where you sacrificed for someone can really make me feel uneasy.

ReplyDeleteI agree with this quote, not because I'm bitter or anything, but because I think relationships work well when the people in it are both complete AND decide to be together. That way, they're both secure with themselves and if the relationship didn't work, they're still whole.
(DISCLAIMER: single since birth, so what do I know, right?)
