tabing ilog

Last Sunday, my colleagues invited me to go to a river in Kalumpang in Hulu Selangor. I thought of not coming with them, as I might be an outcast, knowing that they would rather speak in there native language than english. But, in the end, I decided to join in because I also had nothing to do at home and had no plans for the day.

Our day started at 9 am and travelled about 2 hours on a consistent 140km/hour drive from Puchong to Kalumpang. We almost hit an accident, after one of our cars ran over something and hit the car I was riding on. We stopped for awhile, and saw that it made a small dent on the car (a new car! one week old only...) We arrived at our destination and looked for a place to camp. We decided to eat for awhile, had some pansit, spaghetti, rice and fish. After we ate, it was time to jump in to the river.

The waters was clean and healthy (i guess?? ~ coz we saw a school of fish swimming)... The water was freezing cold but we still had fun being in the river. We had few splashes here and there, swimming as well, and cuts from the rocks, all of these made our day a great day for us. After a few hours, we decided to eat lunch and jump in for the second round until we went back home.

 While in Kalumpang, I remembered "Tabing Ilog" the TV show.
