a long day coming

my day started of at 5 in the morning when the phone alarm rang, telling me i need to get up for work! i went to KL with my long time friend, who is also my colleague. As it was early there were no jam at all and it was smooth sailing until we reach our destination.

it was the grand opening of KL Life Centre! where one of our outlets are located. We had to serve breakfast to the media and guests of the event from 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning and it ended just nicely before we started our buffet line for 10:00 to 11:00 for special guests.

The guests were then advised to be out of the outlet and watch the proceedings outside for the ribbon cutting and lion dance. (unfortunately i was stuck inside, so i got no pictures). The lion dance went inside our outlet and hopefully will give us good luck for the rest of the year.

After 30 minutes, we would need to serve coffee for a minimum of 100 people from media and special guests for the opening. It was crazy as we need to do it in 1 hour and thankfully we pulled through and served all of them as fast as we can.

Then after the event, we sat down and ate for awhile before our manager meeting at 3:00 in afternoon to talk about our plans for the next coming months. It was a long and arduous meeting! It drained the life out of me and just wanted to go back home and sleep... and that was about 8:30 in the evening.

I arrived in another outlet near to my place at about 9:30 and had a late night dinner. I stayed there until they closed which is at 1:00 in the morning, because I thought anyway that I don't have work the next day. 

And now, it is nearly 5:00 in the morning! I am still awake and not sleepy!
