Reflection

Nearly 8 years working abroad, I had a lot of challenges as all people will have when working out of the country. As for me, it strengthened my self-reliance, my independence that I learnt when I was still a child.

Being the only son, I had to play my own boys' toys, cars and play basketball by myself. From a young age, I learned that I can be strong, independent and be a creator my own destiny, without leaning on others to help out in my problems.

Though, most people say that I am a loner, I have no life, and sorts of negative connotations of being alone. I am proud to say that I lived my life full of happiness being alone, being independent and thinking for myself. Though I know people would say to me now, to look for someone, I still feel I would be happy alone and free.

I would enjoy the food that I want every single time, as I would need not to follow other people of what and where they want to eat. I can cook for myself and enjoy the meal alone, well me being a critic, I critic my own cooking. Sometimes great, but sometimes I need to eat it 'coz I don't want to waste it.

Well, travelling alone is still the best for me. I just follow my schedule, when and where I want to go, what I want to experience on my travels, what will I eat, what will make me just go out and be myself. I can go to anywhere I want to go without any qualms if the other person may not like it. It's fun! Then I may, just may meet someone new in my travels.

As I reflect my life outside the country, I have became stronger and better person as I am before. More confidence and strength to fulfill my dreams and destiny. Whether there is someone who would join me to where I am destined to, I will be happy always, being alone!
