Being recognized
It was a normal day at work, doing training for new staff in our company when I received a message from one of our administrators in my school way back in primary and high school. I was told that our school wanted to recognize alumni for our school's 35th anniversary and I was one of them.
It was weird as I didn't think my accomplishments now can be compared to the accomplishments other alumni reached. I never thought that I will be recognized by our school and now, here is a chance for me to share my accomplishments and what I have become.
When just the other day, I had this meeting of being ambitious, rating myself from 1 to 5 scale on how ambitious I am in my life. Come to think of it, people have their own ambitions and it is hard to gauge what would be the highest and lowest if everyone has their own perceptions of being ambitious. So, I asked myself again, how ambitious I am, I can say that I might be a four.
So, being recognized is something that I am not used to, though I had won staff of the month for a few times already, this has been the most rewarding recognition that I could wish for. As I venture into new heights in my career and life, I owe what I learned from and my development as an individual in my alma mater. So, being recognized by my school is such an honor. Whether, I would be in the final draft or not. I am deeply honored.
Thank you! Happy 35th Anniversary Christian School International!
