When I Am Lost...
I have two questions I needed an answer and I asked a few friends to help me out. I needed a woman's advice on issues that relates to having a relationship. As I always like to go in a relationship with a clear view of where I want to go and that is to have a family. So, entering a relationship is not that easy for me as I always see the future ahead.
The first question is about age, she is nearly half my age and I heard of sayings that age doesn't matter, but I just can't follow the norm if I am thinking of our future, it there would be. Well, I agree with my friends saying that because she is still young, she is curious about anything and still don't know what she wants in her life. With one of my friend added that it is where the mess starts. So, it's already a red alert on that note.
The second questions is about our religion, being a Roman Catholic and she being a Muslim. Personally, it is hard for me to be in a relationship with her as I am not ready to convert just for love. As the same with one of my friends believes that religion trumps love. I am not saying that I would not, I am not closing the doors, but for now, it's a NO. However, for my other friend, as long as I love her I would do everything for her.
And my friend shared that in a relationship, the most important things are chemistry, understanding, and the way you care for each other, and finally LOVE. No matter what circumstances both of us face, we can pass through all the trials of our relationship.
She added that to get to know the person first before deciding on anything. Rushing is normally the cause of problems in the end. Though I want to settle down already, there is no point of being in a relationship if I am hesitant of the relationship in the first place. Enjoying the relationship first and deciding when both of us are ready to get married.
So, in the end... I decided not to pursue about asking her. I just found out how I can be happier when my heart is open and not hesitant in the decisions I make. I just hope she is out there somewhere. Maybe I saw her already, I am just afraid to tell her that I LOVE HER.
