A Valentine's Day Like No Other

Valentine's day is like a normal day for me every time. No dates, nothing special and just me alone like a normal day. But what this day sets apart from other is this...

A few days before this day, I was wondering why she never messaged me and replied to my messages. Thinking I can't ask her out as she continuously ignored me, I passed on it. I just thought that this day would be another day that I can just sit back and relax in my tiny abode.

Then a message came through and I never expected to see her name on my phone to send me something. It was like... wait? Is this from you? did you really messaged me after a few days of ignoring me? what happened? So, as I opened it... a message greeting me a happy valentine's day!

Though short it made my day. A few replies here and there and it was enough to make my normal day a special one because of you. I can't understand why... but why would you greet me? am I special for you?

What I know... you are special to me, it's just I'm afraid because every time I come close to you, you move away. When I want to ask you out, you always reject it. So, I'm afraid to fall for you because you are really unpredictable. I really don't know.
