When I Spent A Day or Two Enjoying Songs
A few drinks and a group of people are singing Chinese songs and memories flood in. Though the memories of the girl I used to was merely there, I treasured the moments I was enjoying the song and not the reason I had before on listening to them back then. It was nice to hear music even though I don't understand them, music binds all people, even you don't understand the lyrics, you would understand the emotions and feeling inside of it.
Typically, I love music though I enjoy it more listening and not singing it. Unless I guess I would be drunk. I like music, it calms me down, it make me enjoy the moment, it helps me think. It just makes me happy when I listen to music even not knowing the lyrics, titles or in a different language. Music heals.
And before going to Seremban, I had the privilege to listen to my friend pay tribute to our new President in Kuala Lumpur. I was about to miss it when work schedule was in the way. I already told my friend that I would miss it, but I was already finding ways of being in her concert until there was a bright light that can confirm my attendance to her concert. Things just made it so much better and it was great to see my friend perform.
As the night goes and she finished her concert, I had to go and told a common friend that I need to rush and travel just to be in time for a late work night.
As like Adele's song, I wish I would meet and fall in love with Someone Like You. I know your heart is for someone else, but I wish that I would meet and fall for someone like you. Well, I don't know, but I wish.
I enjoy the music and enjoy the people. Though sometimes music breaks my heart, it also heals my heart. Finding goodness in music, finding people thru music, finding peace thru music.
