My Trip Back Home!

First of all, I'm not usually fond of taking photos even on my travels in other countries... So, please don't expect too many snaps on this post! Thank you! Hahaha...

Well, my trip started in what I can say a planned but tensed of not being on time for a wedding I planned to attend. As my Philippine documents were not completed a day before my flight. I actually didn't book my flights up until I got my documents as I was taking a budget airline so cancellations and change flights would cost me as well. Good thing it was not as expensive as I expected, but of course it's still expensive as I booked the day before the flight. So, for those who are travelling for the first time... Don't do what I do! And  usually book on weekdays! It's the cheapest rates you will find. One more tip? Book in the morning as well, it's cheaper in the morning!

Having rushed my flight, I have forgotten a few things to bring for my niece, I guess I'll give it once we see each other again, say 2019? Hahaha... I have brought myself, my carry-on and a few posters that I sold from Malaysia to my friends and relatives in the Philippines. Then bought a few chocolates for the kids at home. That's about it. So, my flight was at night (being one of the cheapest flights), delayed due to the air traffic in Manila. I arrived safely in Manila and stayed in the hotel for the night to be ready for the wedding in Pampanga for my friends staying here in Malaysia too.

So, the wedding went well and I decided to stay overnight for an after wedding party with the family and friends of the bride (Rischelle). Great that I stayed as I met her wild and friendly family. It was a bit awkward at first as I didn't know anyone other than the bride and groom, but in the end... I felt I was family! Looks like this would be a friendship that would be a long time running! Congratulations again to Rischelle and Ozai!

After the wedding, I suddenly wanted to go to Boracay the next day with a new found friend again... But I had to cancel it. Well, I was just talking about him on traveling alone and the greatness of it... So, I hope he had fun in Boracay.

Then come to our elementary class reunion. BONDING TIME! After 20+ years, it was great meeting my lifelong friends again. A time to talk about our school life and what we have been doing in our lives. But, damn... I look fat! Hahaha... I really need to lose weight! So, we also planned of having a bigger one in 2019. I was really happy seeing my friends again and sharing our lives to each other. 'Til next time!

Another wedding, an unplanned event for my elementary classmate. I had a blast in your wedding and I am happy for both of you. I have know Noan for the longest possible time and have been closed with you and Rochie since elementary days. Now, it's me, Rochie, and Heiko who have yet to tie the knot! Who would be the next one?

Then I visited my elementary and high school with a speech for the kids in their Career week. Suddenly, I got nervous and don't know what to say on my speech. Well, other than talking to the kids, I gave a few advice to the parents as well. It was a great experience for me to be speaking at Christian School International! But, I do hope next time, I'll be given more time to prepare a speech... Hehehe... On photo is me and my Nursery teacher! It was nice to see you again!

So, I also visited my college, well it changed a lot and was great seeing my previous instructors. It was great experience also seeing the new school director and talked about a few things that we can make the university better. I do hope what we talked about will come true and I'll be excited for the outcome! Thank you!

And, finally my trip back home will not be complete on seeing Nanay once again. I hope I made you happy on my visit. It's just something that makes me always think is that when I visit Nanay, it's raining. I don't know if it is you crying for joy of seeing me once again. I miss you and I'm sorry that I am not coming back more often than not. But, you know that you will always be in my heart. I offer you the flowers to say "I love you and thank you". I hope next time the prayers I asked for can be answered. I know you are guiding me and our family. Thank you for your sacrifices and again... I love you and I miss you.

But, there are a few misses on this trip! I just don't know when it will happen... So, until we meet again Philippines!
