mastering celebrating alone...
My special day was yesterday. I got a couple of greetings as usual and I decided to celebrate on my own again... as usual. I planned to have someone, but then again it was just me!
It started early with my breakfast, homemade tuna sandwich in wholemeal bread with my Taiwanese papaya milk that I bought from the market. While having my breakfast I watched NBA with my favorite team L.A. Clippers beating OKC Thunder. It was a thrilling match and really made me nervous until the end, good thing LAC won! It was a great start, with a healthy breakfast.
So, while watching the game, I was thinking of either going to The Curve or 1Utama and with much thought I decided to go to 1Utama. I intended to have my lunch at T.G.I. Friday's as a treat to myself. I had myself a Tennessee Steak with Shrimps! Well, I didn't know it was served with soup and good thing it was. Hahahaha... I was pretty hungry by the time I went to the mall. So, I was thinking... I was celebrating my birthday in Friday's and usually if they got a birthday celebrant they would be singing and will be giving a free birthday cake! Well, I was alone and it would be kind of weird that I would be telling them that I'm celebrating my birthday. So, I ditched the idea and just enjoyed my meal.
While walking around I came across a Japanese Travel Fair! Hey! Great timing as I am really thinking of having my next birthday in Japan! So, I went around, took a few brochures just to get an idea how much would it cost for me to travel in Japan. A plus for me is finding out that there would be another live Naruto spectacle again in Malaysia! Great! It would be a great post celebration (and gift for myself) for this year!
As the day goes, I wanted to treat myself for a good dinner at Dontaku, one of a few Japanese restaurants in 1Utama. Good thing I came in before the rush though as people were lining up as I finished my meal. Well, I almost waited for a seat to be vacated, but as I was alone, I was sneaked in by the hostess in a tiny spot. I guess that's the advantage of being alone. I can easily eat and probably if there would be a long line, I can be sneaked in. So, I had myself a set meal. Unfortunately, I forgot to remember the name of it. Anyway, the photo is below.
And I reached home while it's raining, I thought of having myself a good massage but I was too tired to go out again and likewise it's raining so I just decided to watch youtube and decided to call it a day.
P.S. Today, was my post-birthday celebration. I watched a movie and treated myself with an ice cream! And, thanks to SAMS grocer for giving me a RM40 shopping voucher for my birthday! I got one more!?! The live Naruto spectacle! Hopefully, I can watch it...
Yes, I am a year older and a year wiser. I had a few things in life I want to have and it's still on my bucket list. I hope my dreams will come true! And I thank God for another year He blessed me and guided me to the path where I am now. And I thank God for the years that I will still be having.
