Weekend Getaway!
Rarely our company gives us a weekend getaway to refresh ourselves from the hustling and bustling of our work. We barely get our foot out to enjoy as we have priorities and deadlines to meet. Good thing is that before the end of the year, we finally had the time to do so in Genting Highlands. Though it was a short getaway, it was the right timing to be refreshed as we are about to do something big this year-end.
Our first plan was to have a few team building activities that turned into a bowling event. It was fun but was really tiring. I guess I need more exercise and that is why I feel drained by the end of the games. Well, good thing for us, we still managed to be runner-up while having a poor outing for me. Well, a few strikes here and there was good enough for me to contribute though. I miss playing bowling... Hmm... I miss playing any sports anyway.
Had a wonderful dinner at an eat-all-you-can restaurant and let me tell you! It's smorgasbord! The food is never-ending until you are just so full and the only thing you can do is to seat down and let gravity play it's role. Had local Malaysian food, Western Food, Japanese Food, Western-Asian Food, Desserts! I think it's appropriate though as we were all tired at playing bowling and the best way to keep our level up is providing us unlimited food! Well done!
By the end of the day, we had a free time to enjoy the gloomy and cold night. Though it was quite tiring, we still managed to get a good few snaps outside until we decided to call it a day. Well, for some. As for me? I went on myself and explore Genting! Well, it's my second time, not too many things have changed, but I'm thinking of having another weekend getaway in Genting before the year-ends. It's all because I don't think I can go to Thailand because of work. So, I got no choice but to stay in Malaysia.
Here are a few snaps my staff took and some snaps I did!
