What Keeps Me Going
1. Working Hard, Working Smart!
I worked hard for what I am now. I worked smart for what I am now. From the start I learned that I needed to work hard on myself to improve who I can become. I worked hard on myself to push myself to reach what I want to attain in my life. By pushing myself hard, I learned as well to work smart. I worked smart by learning techniques that will keep me going. I worked smart to be able to know what to choose what would benefit me greatly in life. By working work and working smart, I know I can reach success.
2. Passion Will Always Be There!
The passion I have is not because of anyone or the company I am working for. The passion I have is for the job that I am doing. Though there are times, my passion is being siphoned out with the things that is going at work, I still find the silver lining in it. Passion is such an important aspect of my life that keeps me on my toes to be a better individual. Passion is the one that makes me glad I am here and the life that I wanted. And the same passion will keep me moving forward to what I want in the near future. So, it's important for me to follow the passion and reach success.
3. Keep Learning New Things!
When I was teaching, I always keep in my mind the lessons I learned from my Grandfather, and that is to keep learning new things until your last breath. My Grandfather died peacefully reading a newspaper and checking what is new with our world. This heartbreaking moment in my life, gave me one of the best lessons I needed for my life. Never stop learning new things as this would make you a better person and a stronger individual. Never stop learning because it is what you need to grow, even on your last breath.
4. Keep Smiling with Your Two Front Teeth!
Being an introvert, I don't mingle with people that often, but what makes me going in life is being happy with my life. Being around the people who makes me smile is such an important aspect of my life. By smiling and having a positive outlook in life is such a great experience. It makes me wanting to enjoy life more and more. Smiling makes me think of the things that made my life great. Such things that makes me proud of who I've become. The aura in me changes when I keep smiling, though I know I don't do it so much, but when I do, it feels that it can last forever.
5. Keep the Music Going!
I love music and it is great to have friends (family) who are singers. It's such a pleasure to know such individuals who love music as I do or even more. Though I only sing on my own (with no talent), I keep my self going by listening to great music. And most of the times (if not all), when I write blogs I would be listening to music to keep me going. After waking up... I need music. Taking a bath... I need music. Going to work... I need music. It just gives me the energy I need to go thru the day. And of course the help of my friends, I enjoy more music. They have became an integral part of my life and I owe it to my friends.
6. Just Being Me!
Lastly, is being me. I don't need to please no one. Or the only person I need to please is myself and nobody else. I live my life for myself and nobody else. Being independent for most of my life, even I was still young, I learned how to support myself in the passions I love, by being me. I don't need to be pretentious. I am the person that if I like you, I like you and if I don't like you, I don't like you. I can always be the nicest person around, but I can also be your worst enemy and it's just me. And it keeps me going as I am only thinking of who I can be and be a better me than before. By being me, it made me stronger and kept me going with my life. With this, it helped me achieve what I wanted in my life. With this, I handled my problems with dignity. By just being me, I keep myself on the ground and be thankful to God that I am here.
