My Own

He was always afraid most of his years. He always thought he was not good enough all the time. He always tremble when meeting people the first time. He always found himself alone and keeping all his emotions to himself. Life was not it was seemed on the outside. Most people misunderstood who he was.

He was always terrified of failure. He always doubt himself. He always kept thinking of the best things that can happen in life, but ends up regretting the things he had done in the past. He keeps his thoughts most of the times so as not to be judged. He tends to give in when people tell him to do things. It felt that he had no friends, those he can trust his life.

But when he grew older, he became wiser, though there are times he felt alone, it was more of the happiness of solitude in his life. There are times he tremble in meeting people, but he learned to accept his weakness and become stronger and face the world around him. Though he still regrets things that happened in his life, he knows that these are lessons he can learn from to be a better human being. He learned that it's not the number of friends he had, but the few people he knows that will be there at the end of his time.

He had dreams, sometimes out of this world and some are just because of the happiness that will bring in his life. He finds it fascinating having his own family in the future, he finds a great pleasure having his own business and be successful. He finds joy in the kitchen like his mother did and he was good in teaching like his father was.

He found a great person within, a person who can stand by himself, who can build something great in the future. A person who thinks that the best way to be happy is to succeed in his dreams and until then he fights to stay afloat with the struggles of this world. It was hard for him as he was his own mentor for most of his life, he learned from most of his mistakes and being the person who enjoys the quiet.

He prayed that his family is safe and blessed, though there were years that he went away from God, but found himself again believing in Him. He lost the love he had and for a few years was devastated, he lost his mother and was the last one who cried in his family. With all this loses, he still believed and continued to believe, because the life he had, with all the happiness and struggles, all the wins and trials, he stayed strong to keep his faith in the Lord.
