And It's Another Year!

Ano gusto mong ulam? Kain ka na! Niluluto ko ang paborito mong pagkain. Gusto mo bang kumain ng... Lagyan mo nito ang lulutuin mo. Nasaan po ang cookbook ninyo? Ano po ang tanghalian ngayon? Gusto ko pong kainin ay ito...

Well, Nanay and myself have a special bond! It's all about food. I learned all my cooking skills from Nanay, the recipes from her handwritten cookbook to her collection of good food. It was her inspiration that brought me to loving cooking. 

And as another year passes by, I still recall Nanay, and until today I remember her how she taught me how to cook and let me help cook her specialties... Adobo with atsuete, Pininyahang Manok, Embotido, Champorado, Estofado, Pata Tim, Adobado, Menudo, Afritada, and her famous Rellenong Manok. Dishes that I would still need to cook and master! 

Cooking is a passion of mine because of Nanay and I hope I can cook as good as her. I miss your cooking! And I miss how you loved my Embotido and Special Fried Rice!

Well, I hope you are proud of me because I cooked for the family on your last day here. And I hope they liked it too...
