Would You Ever Know?

Though I have too much to say, I always don't keep my end of the bargain. I have been through the worst and had the hardest time to move on. But, when I know I will be serious with someone, I will. I just don't know how to say it to you, you're on a different league and I'm just a friend to you. Things I guess would never change until I open up to you, but then again I made it clear that I like you, I just don't say that I want to be with you for the rest of my life.

Now, it's even harder. Now, you're really in a different space that I would not likely be in your world. So, what can I do? I'll just keep my mouth mum and see you flourish in the world that you are in. I would be happy to be standing beside you when you need it, I would be one of the person's keeping you always afloat, I would be the person who would positively criticize when you would make mistakes, and finally, I hope I can be there just because you are special in my heart.

Life is such a complex thing, I really don't know what I'm waiting for and not telling you the truth. I guess, I have been rejected for most of my life, I was never the brightest kid, I was never the sportiest kid, I was never the handsome type, not a bad boy type. I'm just average. Well, that sums what I feel about myself. My personal life. It's much different though when we talk about my career and what I want to do for having a business. But, my life is just as average as it can be.

So, would you ever know that I would like to spend the rest of my life with you? I really don't know. As much as I want you in my life, I don't want to lose a friend who has a golden heart.
