A Merry CHRISTmas to Remember!
It all started even before the eve of Christmas and it was not supposed to be the best of one, but suddenly...
So, I was outstation again as we opened our makeshift outlet and to run it until the eve of Christmas, which I already planned to be on leave. A few things happened that was really bad and I thought it will ruin the Christmas spirit in me. But what it was is a blessing in disguise as I had to come back earlier than expected to KL for a meeting. This gave me time to find gift wrappers and rest as well. Though I had to work for half a day to do the report on the eve, I had enough time to do my preparations.
As I had book a room, I went to Setiawalk early and get more rest as I know it would be a long night. Then went around and thought of having dinner before we party at night. As I walk around and looking for good food, I thought of having a simple dinner and to my amazement the restaurant I picked served Filipino food! Well, been craving for Filipino food for a long time and finally I got hold of one. I ate Kare-Kare, it's a bit sweet for my liking but was pretty good.
Then I waited for awhile more until my friends arrived at Setiawalk. As one of my good friends is singing, we had an all night party! Was great seeing my friends again! A lot of singing, dancing, eating, some drinking, and a whole lot of fun until we countdown for Christmas! Well, it's kind of funny because my friend saw at the end of the presentation that is not for Christmas but for their National Day! That was just like... Hey! what? So, we exchanged gifts and more, exchange our wishes to everyone and partied some more until it was three in the morning. Thank you to all who made this night a night to remember. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
And on Christmas day! I went to KLCC (aka Petronas Towers) just to enjoy more of Christmas and treat myself good food for the holidays. So, I went to have a good lunch at Umai-Ya Japanese Restaurant and also had coffee and dessert at eight-ounce coffee. Walked around, watched Christmas carols and had a few snaps at the huge Christmas tree behind the towers. I went on window shopping and looking for something that I want to buy... but not yet as I got other plans. Hahaha...
Then went back home. Once I reached home at night. I needed to have dinner and called for delivery. I had ordered a set meal and unfortunately they forgot my chicken tenders. So, I called again and they sent me more than I was supposed to have. Great thanks and good service. But, I pity the driver as it was raining. He apologized and I likewise did as it was really raining and all the trouble just do have my order resent to me.
A few more good things on Christmas day! Had a few chats with my new and old friends, wishes of Merry Christmas and more.
So, it was really an eventful day this Christmas and it was a merry day to remember. One thing though, unfortunately I wasn't able to go to Church as they didn't have anymore services on the time I left my hotel.
I am thankful for THIS DAY! Happy Birthday Jesus Christ! Thank you for blessing me and my family and not forgetting each one of us. We love you! And to all my family and friends... Merry Christmas!
